Note: Based on guidance from health authorities and government agencies, we are implementing new safety measures with the safety and well-being of our patrons, horsemen and employees at the forefront of our planning.
Daily Medical Screenings at Keeneland Gates: Only those with a temperature less than 100.4 degrees and showing no symptoms of illness will be granted access to the Keeneland grounds.
Face Coverings Required for Everyone: Masks are required at all times for patrons, horsemen and employees while on the Keeneland grounds.
Social Distancing and Capacity Measures: To allow for social distancing, group sizes of 10 or less are permitted inside the Keeneland grandstand. Groups that visit the grounds together are expected to remain at least 6 feet away from other groups.
Increased Sanitation Protocols: Keeneland has increased sanitation measures throughout the grounds. Patrons, horsemen and employees are expected to wash or sanitize their hands often. Patrons are not permitted on floors 2-4 or interior spaces of the grandstand.
A National Historic Landmark, Keeneland features beautifully landscaped grounds that are open to the public every day. Fans and horsemen alike are welcome to enjoy its spectacular racing, attend one of its annual horse sales or simply visit the grounds and celebrate Keeneland’s timeless beauty.
Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, Keeneland will limit the number of patrons on each tour. Patrons must book tours in advance, as onsite ticket sales will not be permitted. The Keeneland grounds will not be accessible to the public on live race days during the October Meet. Credentials required for essential personnel and guests.
Private tours are available on select dates upon request at $20 per person (minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 patrons per group). To schedule a private tour, please contact us at 859-288-4142 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
