Take a stroll around Keeneland’s stable area, commonly known as the ‘backstretch’ on this unique tour. You’ll see activities that occur every day on the backstretch, from a racehorse being bathed and walked to a horse receiving new shoes. The tour will also make stops at the main track and training track to watch morning training, as well as the racing office and Sales Pavilion when available.

Guests must be over the age 13+ to book this tour. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tours are limited to a maximum of 10 people. The walking tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and largely takes place outside, rain or shine. For your comfort, please dress for the weather. At least 20 minutes prior to your tour, please check in at the Welcome Center, located adjacent to the Grandstand South entrance located at the top of parking row 7.​
